GP's MRP is driving me insane! this is the first time im doing a GP assignment so obviously, im clueless of what exactly is correct & what standards are. moreover, this takes up 5% of my year end promos so i really dont whanna screw it. though i have already settled on the topic i would like to do for the mrp, i dont have substantial info to begin on it yet. i went to NYXchange for my research and out of all the portals, im only getting my info from newslink i need more! i cant get through the economists, i thought the school subscribes for us. OVRC is working against me as well, my internet just cant seem to display the page i wonder why. i got frustrated & gave up lol. k i think i sound worked up right haha, at least, i have another weekend for this, thankgod :)

alright, gonna go read the papers for my weekly article review which i'll start tmr cause im too restless & lazy to work on it now haha. heh GP's really not easy.

heh its the weekends once again, how time flies.

week B timetable's this week & idk which week's timetable is better. cl is as boring and tough, lectures are as boring. but 0924's fun! not a day without laughter with the people, makes classes fun & entertaining, something i look forward to in school, haha.

house exco tea party yesterday, it was very fun, people there were nice. got to make new friends, played games too with everyone though 3 other guys & myself from my class were late by an hour due to classes so we missed out on almost every single game except the last. but sigh, its not confirmed that everyone's gonna be in hse exco yet, cause there may be more shortlisting and then campaigning for elections where everyone will go vote for me! haha.

meet the parents session today from 730 till 9 plus, we left early mid way through the Q&A session. haha and guess what, my parents drove to school. i told that to all my friends and they were all super shocked lol. this is the first time i see the response for meet the parents sessions so big & the LT4 was fully packed. and oh ya yay the lights are finally working perfectly in LT4. the whole week we had lectures there with minimal light till i forgot how bright its supposed to be lol.

before that, i stayed after school to do the pw project along with samuel, felicia & CC. marion, brendon & casper lol came along after their geog lesson to help out. in the end, we didn't really do much, played music and got distracted. after which i had dinner with them at the nearby hawker.

today's a wed which is cca day and school end the earliest for me every wed, 230! yay but for some, sch ends as early 12 on a normal day, life's unfair (haha). and every lecture in LT4 always so dark. dark as in literally dark no light, not mysterious dark haha. theres something wrong with the lights which gives the LT a very nice comfy feeling which sucks cause it spells for me falling asleep more often. yet almost every lecture, someone (most of time, milly lol) will pop out with the bag of sweets haha passing it around the class, having picnic heh. and, thanks daryl & friend for the shooting stapler bullets -.-

phys prac today was ridiculously fun cause samuel, kelmond & i were busy entertaining ourselves lol laughing like crazy almost every other moment. and did i mention, milly, brendan & zhengxuan were all born on the same day, in the same hospital lol what a coincidence (super). & during gp random grouping, they very coincidentally got into the same group. haha so fated, so milly & zhengxuan should stop being enemies :o

had the scholars development programme tea session after sch today. the whole thing is really good but i dont exactly knows how it'll work out hmm we'll see. and theres food, so i settled my lunch there :x lol.

omg and then, its was raining !%$#@! heavily & sadly, i had no umbrella :( though the walk home is not long, it felt like i stood under the rain for an hour, i got soaked completely & im praying my shoes will dry by tmr. it rained twice during my pe already, escaped running the track haha. so why is it always raining.

yo! i just did my econs hw: if i were the finance minister online game. omg i think singapore will die in my hands lol cause i just collected more taxes from every singaporean (k everyone's gonna hate me lol) then increase budget on every sector of the economy. haha cool lor, got ferris wheel, hospital everything appear lol. then when i submitted, apparently its says i gotta consider my budget spendings or whatever cause theres like a deficit budget but it clearly shows a surplus budget before i submitted. hahaa then i log out caues i will never figure out how to plan the economy lol.

ohyes, anyone who has the blue graphic calculator managed to download the applications from litespeed and upgrade your gc? i cant! everyone that i spoke to gave up after attempting to try to upgrade it. aiyo i should have just bought the silver edition gc lol.

studied with amanda & joey at the bishan cc yesterday! haha studied for bout 2 & a half hours which is good cause i wont study when im home, distractions everywhere, tv and laptop lol. did physics & math and when i got to econs zzz sian already, lost my vibe of studying hahaha.

i spent last night transfering more songs into my itunes and sync-ing them to my ipod with pictures too! haha i really love my ipod now besides the fact thats its pretty big. mine's the ipod video and if you dont know, its as big as a iphone lol but it has a big memory of 60 GD haha meant for videos and movies but i doubt i will be adding them in anyway. gonna search for games to dl in too hehe.

another week of jc life had passed. like milly said, yay we made it through! haha and we have way more to go.

today's a long day, ended school at 430pm with only a period of break. i figured my timetable's really bad compared with many of my other friends'. ahh jealous. i have several long breaks of 1.5 hours and a 2.5 hours break next tuesday lol. i can go home and sleep first lor! but i guess amanda's break the worse, 4 hours omg lah!

did physics tutorial homework during math lecture today hehe was so tired the day before didn't bother to complete it. i had my first chem prac too and it definitely was as bad as what daryl and joey told me but thats probably because our teachers are different.

1.5 hours of chinese lesson today & you know what, yesterday was my first cl lesson and hey, i paid attention k! lol had the worst cl grade in my class, gotta work hard and pass cl this year. i was so proud and happy with myself cause i can say, i had never paid so much attention in my sec 3 or sec 4 cl classes hahaha. well, the teacher is very funny and thats how i managed to pay attention and not fall asleep. and i stupidly forgot to bring my cl book on the first lesson when it was only distributed the day before haha thankgod the teacher didnt punish me since she said it was only the first lesson.

and then gp. we were given a super surprise diagnostic essay test. choose 1 out of 12 questions, all argumentative essays omg. ahhh i think my essay is too short & i screwed it lol.

oh my classmate, yong loong is keping's primary school friend and my classmate, samuel is amanda's cousin friend. haha so cool lor, its like we're all connected somehow lol. and my primary one friend recognises me! whoaa she has a really good memory lor.

studied with amanda at bishan library after dinner today. actually, it was my idea but i ended up doing nothing productive lol, not even a single question hehe.

first day of serious school today. had lectures & tutorials and its was pretty alright. math tutorial was really hilarious, the teacher was so funny. " later you get hit by thunder!" seriously, thunder?!? lol. he kept saying it several times. haha he was so damn funny and entertaining. pw lecture was a bore hahaha thankgod thats the only lecture till sometime very long later.

lol i changed my sms tone to some really cool gun shot tone. omg i think its damn funny cause each time i received an sms, i swear i would get a shock cause its so loud and shocking and then i would start laughing. so retarded lah, each time i hear it i will keep laughing. super cheap thrill lor lol. & im super not used to it now.

it is friday the thirteen today & so far, i have not been receiving any sort of bad luck yet. its just, school was kinda boring today haha.

however, orientation during the last few days were very very fun! yesterday marks the last day of orientation and i can say it was a blast. we had wet games in the day and needless to say, everyone got wet and dirty, esp in the waterfall station where there is this canvas sheet and everyone is supposed to get up the slope. everyone got sticky with the detergent poured all over the canvas sheet to make it slippery. haha though it was not easy, it was fun, everyone just kept pushing and pulling people up. then there are the other water bomb games like driest OGL wins awww poor OGLS, some got really soaked cause they kena bombed by the other tribe haha.

after dinner, we had time left so we played games. we played the guessing game with the range of 1 -1000. very sadly, i very 'luckily' picked the number from the wide range and had to forfeit. since there were alot of chilli left from the nasi lemak we had for dinner, lucky person had to eat it. i cheated lah i ate abit only hahaha compared to the other guys who had to forfeit. hahaha & sameuel wanted to leave our class to play cards with his other friends, we didn't allow and would only let him off if he eats the whole packet of chilli. sure enough, he ate it and when he could go, his friends had to leave already lol so he ate for no reason! awww too bad haha. and he is the guy that represented marty for tarzan! woohoo! haha. & yay marty won best tribe! & im loving my class more and more!

and then we had disco night which i believed was the highlight of the entire orientation. i thought the spolight and what they did to our discs were really cool. the colourful disco lights were shining, the atmosphere was really great. it totally reminded of my prom last year, like clubbing, of course, without the alcohol. music was great and rocking, everyone's very high and we all danced like crazy for more than an hour i guess i cant rmb. long trains were everywhere. we did mass dance, tradition dance, and danced to hot & cold too! all in all, the disco night was awesome! very fun lor, really enjoyed myself! haha.

orientation so far was fun these two days :)

yesterday was the first day of orientation with my new class, meeting my new friends. in the morning, when i went to assemble with my class, i caught the first glimpse of my classmates & i got a scare/shock. to my surprise, there are only 6 girls in my class! with 22 guys, they are so gonna dominate the class haha i wished there were more girls. nonetheless, i enjoyed my first day with them though in the beggining, they weren't very enthusiastic cause i guessed everyone's pretty shy lol, but it got better towards the end. and then we learnt the mass dance. it was fun and i enjoyed myself though my partner and i were asked to go up to the stage to perform ahh so embarassing lor, in front of so many people lol.

today, we went to sentosa for the second day of orientation & my class spirit was way higher than yesterday's. i really had alot of fun doing cheers, playing games with my fellow friends and i got to know more of them better which is good. after sentosa, went dinner with weisiang since the others had tribe dinner or something. actually my class had as well then everyone mysteriously disappeared lol. i didn't eat cause i didn't had the appetite and when i got home i didn't eat too, i felt sick :( ohya met keping at the busstop while i was going home haha what a coincidence! so long never see her already lor haha.

yay hope tmr's gonna be fun too! :)

over the hills and far away

yesterday was a rather fruitful day for me, or at least, i was a happy girl hahaha. i went with my family to get the things i needed okay no, wanted for school. since my current printer is not functioning properly like, it cant even print a single straight line, my dad went to get a new one as i had to print my notes regularly. haha why cant the school just print our notes for us? i like the new printer, its cool looking and nice. hehe and i got my shoes and bag for school. yay.

tmr's orientation with my new CT class. excited lor! hope the people from my class are very friendly and nice. gotta be damn sociable and make many friends considering i dont know anyone from my class yet. ahh but im kinda scared too, mixed feelings (isabella! mixed feelings! HAHA). my OGL just messaged me telling me i gotta bring two unwanted discs tmr, so i have to go search later, hope i dont forget! & i really hope orientation's gonna be fun!

heh im one episode short before one tree hill season 3 ends. yes, im still watching it lol. i can still watch before my work load increases till i get very stressed and no more time for leisure haha i hope that never happens.

2nd of feb, joey's birthday :)

yesterday i had pe in school. my group did drills like, push/sit ups, squats, bridge etc first. i thought it was fine and i kinda enjoyed it. it totally reminded me of volleyball training! haha. then, we did running which i didn't really enjoy cause running is tiring lol.

today, in all 4 lectures i had, math physics, cl & gp, i was really sleepy & tired. esp in cl i was staring at the clock almost every minute, hoping the lecture would end immediately. i have my very first gp assignment, the minor research paper (MRP) on any significant event in 2008. also, it will form 5% of my promo exam grade so its really important. i heard its due by term 1 so it means i have alot of time yay. but heh, time is gonna pass really fast now.

hello!
started of the day with assembly talks with some CCAs performing or presenting video clips to attract us JC1s to join. then had my very first lecture, chemistry on atoms, molecules & stoichiometry . theatre was big could hold bout 6oo over students haha. and theres hw! but its only one question lol.

chinese lecture was next oh sighh chinese. CL is like my brand of sleeping pill lor haha. had a talk on how to go about writing this particular type of essay. catch no ball lor the tutor read so fast then my brain cannot catch up with the words on the screen lol. it was funny as when it ended, everyone cheered and clapped yay haha.

then had introductory talk on econs & home sweet home. heard from those that took pe today that pe was really tough and tiring ah mine's on thursday hope wont be too bad. just printed physics notes and tutorial, hope tmr's physics lecture wont be difficult & hope i can cope with it!

first day of school was pretty alright but it was quite boring since orientation is next week because the school wants to orientate us by our classes not OG. so today had campus tour, talks on subject and we're required to submit our subject application online by tmr 1pm. so finally, i decided on physics instead of geog since physics allows me to take a wider scope of courses in the university. but now the problem is h2 econs or h2 physics, another possibility is 4H2s but if i can do well with 3H2s and a H1 i guess thats fine as well. taking econs at H1 is not worth like the teacher said, as for H1 we take 7 topics while H2 covers 10. but i guess im gonna settle with H2 physics & weilin and daryl is going for the same subjects course as me too.

so for this week, theres gonna be academic talks, lectures i guess. & i just printed notes, stress ah first day alr got notes to study. good thing is, school starts at 8.30 this week, yay can sleep later. & i hope orientation is gonna be fun next week!

today is sorta the last day of vacation for those who are going to jc and myself.

like i said previously,

tmr is the first day of school and it kinda scares me. im sure gonna miss my friends. it is gonna be a new start, new friends, new environment, everything. but on the contrary, im also a little excited bout tmr, to see how the school is like, the people. all in all, i really hope everything will be alright. till now, i have yet to decide if i should take up physics or geography. how? i dont think i have much time left to consider. gonna have to think about it.

yesterday.
we went giving YC a surprise birthday celebration & i must say it was a really successful one. we got her mum to help us in beforehand when she was in the shower and so we sneaked in to her room. moreover, her birthday was 2 days ago so she wouldn't suspect anything at all. slacked at her place for a while & snapped pictures and we left as she had something on later in the day. a pity she couldn't make it for bbq at mrs ng's place.
