Just painted my nails a deep purple brown & It's a really pretty colour on :) Seche Vite top coat is amazing, I can't get over how smooth it is! It's a lil pricey but worth the money :)
Anyway,, yesterday I had my first experience doing sales. Black top black pants black flats.. Dressed in a ridiculously whole black attire, we were to report at 8am & even before the store was opened, there were already people queuing outside?!? oh my is the sales really that great?! :O I worked with eleanor joanna & laura btw :)
I was assigned something like a 'jumper' as I have to move to different stations every hour. Majority of my slots are being wrappers or packers whatever it's called which is surprising really enjoyable hahaha. Was working at the same cashier place with Joanna! :) There's music playing and we both agreed it's damn hard to not able to sing along hahaha. They kept playing 'on the floor' and I was kinda getting annoyed by the song -.-
People are spending not by the tens but by hundreds & thousands of dollars!! On branded comestics & bags & shoes of course. It's crazyyy :O The crowd is crazy too & the sales they have is pretty good I must say. Joanna said her last customer spent 47 thousand on SK II products!! How rich.
I had 3 slots which were blank and I thought ooohh do I get to slack? :D but obviously not, instead they 'dumped' me to help PROMOTE STOCKINGS -.- like seriously?! Kinda ridiculous cause I had to literally give myself a crash course on stocking knowledge like where are the sizes colour design. DAMN HARD PLS. When i started it was pretty torturing cause I had honestly no idea what i was saying or doing. But it got so much better as I served more customers and figured things out myself. I'm such an independent learner HAHA.
And I need to say this- im very sure that every promoter had their fair share of lying to their customers. Like 'I think this would look great on you' 'this colour really suits you' NONSENSE. Like you can't expect them to say it's really ugly when the customer actually really likes it and thinks it's pretty. So I'm guilty of lying to my customers, only a few la hahaha :p
I think because I'm a 'jumper' my breaks are all ALONE :'( Eleanor joanna & Laura were so lucky to have all 3 breaks at the same time. Sad me :( No fair!! Luckily for my iPhone and 3G to keep be occupied :)
Work ended at 1030+ and legs & feet were so tiredddd! Started whining to joanna about tired legs in the evening already. Hahaha and we took off our shoes cause they can't be seen anyway :p Standing and walking for over 15 hours. Tiring! But still the experience I gained was great. Had more fun than I expected myself to have thanks to the company & some weird customers. I will not mind going through it again! After all it's only a one day event. I will probably die if I had to work again today hahaha :p I slept like a pig and rested enough today. FINALLY A DAY OF NOT LEAVING HOUSE SINCE LIKE FOREVER (Y) such an awesome lazy day :)
