Hi everyone! Ended my 4 day broadcast asia temp job last week! SLACKEST JOB EVER. Hahaha lucky for me i had a seat since i was doing registration. I was only busy in the morning and then i've almost nothing to do the rest of the time. Thankgod for my iPhone with 3G to keep me occupied :) Even so, with a seat and youtube i still felt extremely bored lol.

Starting another 2 day temp job at MBS tmr! Its the global mobile money summit event. Been slacking for so long already, this 2 temp jobs decreases my guilt when i shop hahaha. Besides, i really hate rotting at home, which is what i did today! At least i caught up on gossip girl & lost :)

Anyway, few weeks back i met up with my girls to celebrate van's birthday! :) Her daddy booked her a hotel at swissotel! & we had our secret night out hee

Hi everyone so i've renamed my musics files & i've completed 157 ONLY. So i've only 157 songs in my iTunes so far. I've 400 plus more to go. Its an extremely frustrating process o m g sad girl. & i'm kinda lazy to continue already, i will take FOREVER.

I'm starting a 4 day temp job as registration at the BroadcastAsia Event tmr! :) & i'm kinda really excited for it, i think it'll be fun, interacting with visitors, hopefully :)

Anyway, few weeks back, my family went to..

Tao's Restaurant

for their 6 course lunch. Sounds expensive? Not at all! Lunch going at $19.80++ while dinner at $29.80++ the dinner is a 7 course meal if you're wondering. The food was fab!! Presentation & quality was awesome, super worth every cent we paid! In fact, my family found it cheap for the quality of food that was served & we will definitely go back again.

So we were given the menu & out of the different choices, we get to choose one each. So lets start with,

Starters- Bacon & Mushroom Gratin w bread

This was standard for everyone:)

I didnt finish my portion of the starters cause i was afraid i got too full cause the gratin is so cheesy but still tasty though. My parents loved it. Bro & i not quite a fan of it.

Salad

-Top shell salad with cold japanese noodle

-Farm Boy Splendour

-Prawn roll with pork floss

I ordered this! It's a light snack but i prefer my mum's farmboy splendour which is a chicken salad!

Soup
-Cream of Pumpkin

Mum ordered this. I didn't like it, thought it was too sweet.

-Cream of mushroom

The rest of us ordered this & I LOVED IT. Omg craving for the thick mushroom soup now!!

Drinks
-Iced tropical grapefruit tea

-Iced rose apple tea

-Iced grassjelly mint tea

-Iced summer peach tea

The drinks are interesting & super refreshing! Been wanting to drink the iced rose apple tea since then :/

Main Entrees
-Oven roasted steak

-Grilled snapper with japanese sauce

-Crabmeat & prawn aglio olio

They are all just good food (Y) Didn't finish my aglio olio cause the portion was pretty big :/

Desserts

-Brownie with ice cream

-Tiramisu

-Creme brule

Thats all!

Had porridge for lunch as i had stomach flu yest which hurts so bad :( Slept alot and i'm feeling alot better now. The pictures are making me hungry which is a good thing! Means my appetite is back and i'm recovering :) Okay back to renaming my music files, go me.

Hiiii im back from yesterday's night out with my girls- amanda van & joey!! Had alot of fun heh. Sleep is definitely catching up on me since i've had sleepless nights of the past week plus yest's crazy night! Really tired now but i dont whanna sleep cause im afraid if i nap now i may not be able to fall asleep tonight & that really sucks. Will blog about yest night another time.. For now,

BAKING SESSION

Baked with milly & joanna few weeks back. First- Lemon Meringue.

Verdict: EXTREMELY SOUR..... We used 4 whole lemons. Omg what were we thinking?? The digestive base & the marshmallow-like top part is good though!! Joanna & i kept eating the top part dipped in the sour lemon thing omg so yummy! Although its too sour, its still good cause its really refreshing. Milly is too afraid of eggssss hahhaha. But sadly, our middle part has failed badly. Its damn watery we've no idea why :( After this, i'm never attempting to bake another complicated meringue again.

Verdict: TOO SOUR. Hahaha yes we added too many lemons again. Lesson learnt to always reduce the number of lemons in every recipe. But eating the peaches together with the cheeesecake, it isn't that bad! Quite good in fact :)

After baking, we watch final destination 4! Joanna & i were being total girls screaming during the movie hahaha i can't wait for final destination 5 to premier! Trailer looks exciting (Y)

Next weekend we randomly baked at my aunt's place cause everyone's too bored. So we baked a simple egg white & sugar mixture that is the mallow part of the meringue! Tasted like candy.

Omg im damn sleepy. Shall try not to sleep & then off to my grandma's birthday dinner :)

NOVA OUTING

Met up with the fellow nova ogls & we went for steamboat buffet at bugis. Sadly, not many turned up & we still had fun :)

Went to J CO donuts to chill afterwards,, played truth or dare! Didn't managed to dig out some dirty lil secret but we did still have a satisfying time there! :)
